This is an abridged version of the Parent Engagement and Leadership Assessment Guide, which is designed to help agencies, systems, and collaboratives working with young children and their families to chart a course toward an expanded approach to family engagement. In addition to engaging families as partners in their child’s growth and development, this approach encourages systems to partner with parents to shape a more family-centered, equitable, and collaborative system. Coalitions can use this tool to help with strategic planning, grants, measuring progress on family engagement (baseline…6mo…12mo..18mo…24mo.), and justifying a budget for family engagement. This data is on a secure network with OUHSC and results will be automatically sent to participant after survey is completed.
